Position: Regional Recruitment Manager

Locations: West Africa (Lagos, Nigeria), East Africa (Kenya) and South Africa (SA)

Role Summary

As an Regional Recruitment Manager at GEA, you will be responsible for building brand presence, drive business development with B2B recruitment partners and support student recruitment from assigned regions/markets to GEA partner universities and colleges globally. This is an experience role designed for individuals looking to new and challenging career opportunities in international student recruitment.

 

You will be part of GEA Africa development and recruitment team to actively grow and manage B2B accounts, secure market shares and support student recruitment and enrollment activities in Africa.  The role requires sales and business development skills, client engagement/relations skills, as well as experience in international higher education and student recruitment.  

 

Key Responsibilities

Partner On boarding & Activation

  • Identify, onboard, and activate new B2B recruitment agency partners to build regional brand presence and channel network.
  • Conduct product demos, onboarding sessions, and training workshops for partner teams.
  • Ensure newly onboarded partners are fully supported and active within defined timelines.

 

Account Management & Revenue Growth

  • Manage, retain, and grow strategic partner accounts across East and South Africa
  • Drive revenue and enrolment targets through structured partner engagement.
  • Support partners with program knowledge, pricing updates
  • Support partners’ recruitment effort and conversion strategies

 

Territory Expansion & Relationship Management

  • Develop territory plans to increase applications’ flow, conversions, and regional market penetration.
  • Build strong relationships with agency owners, counselors, and decision-makers.
  • Represent GEA at partner meet-ups, regional events, student fairs, and industry workshops.

Performance Monitoring & Market Intelligence

  • Track partner performance against KPIs and share periodic insights with management.
  • Recommend region-specific strategies to maximize enrollments and partner productivity.

 

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with internal operations, admissions, product, and marketing teams.
  • Provide partner feedback to improve service delivery, turnaround time, and partner experience.

 

Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EdTech, B2B sales, and international education/student recruitment is a must
  • Knowledge of key study abroad destinations and processes is a must
  • Proven experience in agency partner onboarding and account management
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume partner portfolios and revenue-focused conversations.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue and student enrolment targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education or related fields and relevant professional experience
